Previously known as Apply First Aid. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to provide first aid responses in all emergencies and includes CPR.

Time: Online with face-to-face assessment Face to Face contact time of at least 20 Mins after 30 minutes online self paced learning.
HLTAID009 Provide

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to handle cardiac and breathing emergencies. This includes the use of an AED.

Cost: $130 Special (limited time, down from $180) Time: Online with face-to-face assessment Face to Face contact time of at least 1 Hour after 3 hours self paced online learning.

This course applies to educators and support staff within education and care settings who may have to respond to a First Aid emergency. This includes anaphylactic and asthmatic emergencies as well as CPR.

About Us

First Aid Courses with Canberra First Aid will train students to acquire the knowledge and skills to provide assistance in any emergency situation. Our knowledge, experience and technical expertise is unrivalled with our First Aid and CPR training courses taught by highly skilled, motivated and passionate TEACHERS who live and work locally in Canberra and put back into local businesses and the community.

Canberra First Aid’s HLTAID011 Provide First Aid formerly known as Apply or Senior First Aid), HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) and HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting training courses in Canberra, ACT, have never been so Easy! Our 1 day training format is conducted in a relaxed environment at our NEW VENUE in 2021 Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets and LFG Kambah (ACT), which are centrally located in Canberra, with adequate free parking and excellent facilities.

Refund Policy and Cancellation

When an applicant accepts a place offered by Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd and pays the fees, it means a binding contract is created between the student and Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd. Notification of cancellation/withdrawal from unit/s of competency, withdrawal, or deferral from a course of study must be made in writing to Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd.

In the case of cancellation/withdrawal, the following cancellation fees will apply:

Students who give notice to cancel their enrolment more than 10 days prior to the commencement of a program will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid.

Students who give notice to cancel their enrolment fees less than 10 days prior to the commencement of a program will be entitled to a 75% refund of fees paid. The amount retained (25%) by Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd is required to cover the cost of staff and resources which will have already been committed based on the student’s initial intention to undertake the training. Enrolments into short courses (one day) can also be transferred to an alternative date in cases where there is one available.

Students who cancel their enrolment after a training program has commenced will not be entitled to a refund of fees. Enrolment into a course via distance delivery will be deemed to have commenced when the learner resources have been dispatched.

There is no charge for a student to transfer to another course with Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd. If Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd cancels a course, then a full refund will be made available to whoever paid that course fee.

Please note that administration fees may still apply for the processing of refunds.

Discretion may be exercised by the CEO in all situations if the student can demonstrate that extenuating or significant personal circumstance led to their withdrawal. In these cases, the student should be offered a full credit toward the tuition fee in another scheduled program in-lieu of a refund. CEO may also authorise a refund of tuition fees if the circumstances require it.

Where refunds are approved, the refund payment must be paid within 14 days from the time the student gave written notice to cancel their enrolment. Monies will be refunded to the original payment method used during the purchase. A Refund Request Form can be downloaded from our website under the student section.

Note: If for any reason Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd is unable to fulfil its service agreement with a student, Canberra First Aid Pty Ltd must refund the student’s proportion of fees paid for services not delivered or make alternative arrangements.
